It has been a very interesting year reading-wise. With how work ate up most of my life the past year, I only started to have free time after I resigned. “More books!” I shouted in glee, and I was optimistic. I still took it safe, and planned to read 30 books for the year, especially since I started late in the year. Still, my progress was more than I could’ve hoped for.
2014 was also the year of reading more Filipino authors outside my past academic life. And these were mostly authors who have only started out and finding more to watch out for! More Filipino romances in English, please! The plan now is, reading more of them and finding more of them this year. Plus to read more.
This year, I’m still sticking to the 30 books for the reading challenge, just so I don’t pressure my self (especially since I have a lot on my plate this year. Here’s to more books for 2015!
