It was my first time ordering off Book Depository, even if I knew about it for a long while. I never did think of a book with which to buy something off there, so I didn’t really bother. It was only when my friend Chris posted about a promo, and thought that this was a good opportunity.
And that I did. At first, I was just going to get a game-related series, the rest of the Assassin’s Creed tie-in novels that I couldn’t find locally. But then I’ve been told that Book Depository is based in London, and I can actually get UK editions of books! I looked for a certain edition of the Spook Books, and lo and behold! They did carry them! Sadly, since I was a bit too late I can only get the last two books in that edition. I settled for getting the most recent one which is book nine, I Am Grimalkin.
It took 20 days, but they’re here safe and sound! And free shipping is a great bonus to all these. Here’s to more books, because I don’t have enough unread books as it is! (end sarcasm) I won’t hesitate ordering from them again.
Relatively hassle-free and free shipping, too! 😀 Waiting 2-3 weeks isn’t such a bad thing especially considering how many books I can get for my $50 ceiling. 😛
